My approach
Just as a seed grows into a plant, and a plant seeks water and reaches toward light, there is an intrinsic capacity within all living organisms to heal and to grow, and a natural inclination to move in this direction. My approach is guided by trust in the wisdom of this life process.
I encorporate therapeutic traditions including:
Phenomenological and experiential approaches
Trauma-conscious, attachment-based, and relational therapies
Emotion-focused and somatic/body-centred practices
Contemplative and mindfulness-based practices
Birth psychology and family systems
Depth psychology
Focusing and felt sense
Internal Family Systems and parts work

I am a holistic practitioner working in the realms of psychotherapy and birth care, with a focus on human attachment, lifespan development, and caregiving “from womb to tomb.” My work is grounded in lived experience, myriad relationships, and a process of lifelong learning. Birth and families are my passions, and I am dedicated to weaving nurture and encouragement back into the collective, and into the care of ourselves, of our children, of each other, and beyond.
